Buoyancies Business Accelerated Inc.

Buoyancies Business Accelerated Inc. is an inclusive business development company that enables Social Enterprises (SE) and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through incubation, support services, and hybrid marketing strategies. They serve as the marketing arm of SE and MSMEs of their products by displaying and selling at their community store.

 

Dayawan Loom Weaving Producers Cooperative

Dayawan Handicraft Loom Weaving Producers Cooperative aims to revive the diminishing art of weaving traditional “langkit” thereby enabling improved livelihood. They preserve cultural knowledge and heritage by providing free weaving training for the youth while continuing to acquire knowledge and skills to improve and develop their products and services. They also produce ready to use products such as pouches, coin purses, tote bags, and accents on government uniforms to make their textiles more functional

 

EdukSine

Showcasing educational and socially relevant films, EdukSine is an app and an online streaming platform for independent films. They bridge the gap between independent filmmakers who do not have a reachable platform by offering online viewing through the EdukSIne website alongside organized face-to-face block screening opportunities. EdukSine contributes to the formation of holistic human beings who are critical thinkers and who lead productive lives, as influenced by the films they showcase.  EdukSine has managed to reach audiences in schools, barangays, and communities based out of remote locations in Kalinga, Cebu, Tawi Tawi, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

 

EveGrocer

EveGrocer is a sustainable marketplace that offers zero-waste solutions to combat the use of single-use packaging in food and non-food items. They produce a full line of waste-free commodity products such as home-care products, body-care products, food items and more. EveGrocer provides customers a subscription based sustainable shopping experience that takes care of their daily needs. This planned delivery system assures that every household’s stocks are replenished on-time even during a busy schedule and the orders are delivered in reusable glass containers that can be returned and refilled for future orders.

 

IKRAM Agriculture Cooperative

IKRAM Agriculture Cooperative is a community-based social enterprise that produces fresh oyster mushrooms and processes them into mushroom crackers and mushroom powder. The social enterprise was established by a group of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) aiming to recover from the Marawi Siege and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mindful of the sawdust waste left in the open and unused in the community, IKRAM utilizes this (sawdust waste) as a substrate for mushroom cultivation, making an ecofriendly and productive means of disposal while earning a income for the community. IKRAM Agriculture Cooperative aims to earn a profit and improve the lives in the neighborhood and community while protecting the environment.

 

LASIWWAI

Lake Sebu Indigeneous Women Weavers Inc (LASIWWAI) champions community's sustainable tourism among Indigenous people in South Cotabato by promoting T’nalak fabrics and promoting cultural hospitality through community immersion. The organization was established to promote cultural and environmental preservation and to bring the community closer to the T'boli community. LASIWWAI offers:

  1. T'nalak weaving - Items such as table mats, coin purses, lanyards and other products

  2. Abacca and crops - Raw abacca fibers and dye that is used in weaving

  3. Homestays - Community center for tourists interested to learn about their way of life and offer immersion to Universities.

 

Palapa sa Lumba Food Processing

Palapa sa Lumba Food Processing is a social enterprise that aims to improve the lives of underprivileged communities in Lanao del Sur. Led by a group of volunteer youth peace leaders that wanted to showcase their culture, tradition, and identity as Maranao, Palapa sa Lumba Food Processing was established.  Aiming to improve the lives of underprivileged communities, they transformed the staple condiment which all Maranao households have in their kitchen- the Palapa, a spicy condiment made of sakurab (white shallot), ginger, coconut, and salt. Their main producers of raw materials are the mothers who grow the sakurab (white shallots) in their backyards. Others are involved in the preparation, production and selling of the finished product. Through these economic activities, the women and out of school youth are able to contribute to their household income.

 

Project Singanen

Project Sinangen provides livelihood opportunities to the farmers and mothers of Piagapo, Lanao del Sur by employing them to harvest cassava which grows abundantly in the area and turning it into cassava crakers. They produce banggala crackers or cassava crackers in a range of flavors such as cheese, sour cream, spicy, sweet, plain salt, and palapa flavor. Proceeds from the sale also support the needs of one of the madrasah schools in Piagapo.

 

Spectrum Impact Sourcing

Spectrum Impact Sourcing employs talent from marginalized communities such as People with Disabilities, Solo Parents, Out-of-School Youth, and Indigenous People. They offers cost-effective solutions for organizations who wish to grow their business and make an impact on the lives of the disadvantaged. Their virtual model helps their talent to be productive while staying at home and maximize their income.

 

Waste4Good

Waste4Good is an agriculture-focused social enterprise that is committed to help solve food insecurity and utilize food wastage through its compost activator solution (CAS) that enables food waste to be used as non-harmful fertilizer that accelerates plant growth and offers faster decomposition of waste to be used as leachate fertilizer. Their flagship product is the Waste4Good Planting Kit, which is a comprehensive composting and planting kit that uses food waste as fertilizer.
