Here are the 2023 Host Higher Education Institutions for the ISIP Visiting Professor Program for 2022-2023. These Higher Education Institutions will be matched with an International Visiting Professor to be deployed on January 2023 to March 2023.
2023 Host Universities
Mindanao State University - Marawi
Mindanao State University (MSU) - Marawi is the main campus of the MSU System, which is mandated to educate the youth of Mindanao, Sulu and Palawan (MINSUPALA) by offering degree programs in various fields of learning; support businesses and industries in the region by providing their manpower requirements; and integrate the Muslims and the other cultural minorities into the mainstream of national life. It is also the only university directly charged by the government to advance the cause of national unity and actively pursue integration through education.
University of Southeastern Philippines
University of Southeastern Philippines is a regional state university created in 1978 through Batas Pambansa Bilang 12. The university has three campuses, namely: Obrero (main) and Mintal Campuses in Davao City, and Tagum-Mabini Campus which has two units – one in Tagum City and one in Davao de Oro. USeP offers graduate, post-baccalaureate, and undergraduate academic programs in the fields of engineering, education, arts and sciences, economics, business, computing, governance, development, resource management, technology, agriculture, forestry, accountancy, law, and medicine
Sulu State College
Sulu State College is a public college in Jolo, Sulu. It is mandated to provide higher technological, professional, and vocational instruction and training in science, agricultural and industrial fields, as well as short-term technical or vocational courses.
University of Philippines Mindanao
UP Mindanao is the only UP constituent university in Mindanao with the primary mandate to provide equitable access to quality UP education to Mindanaoans. It offers academic programs in the fields of the humanities, architecture, mathematics, food, economics, social, natural, and computing sciences. As a graduate university, it offers PhD by Research, and graduate degrees in management, food science, urban and regional planning, and sports science.
University of Southern Mindanao
The University of Southern Mindanao (USM) is a premier land grant university in Southern Philippines. Its mission is to help accelerate socio-economic development, promote harmony among diverse communities and improve quality of life through instruction, research, extension and resource generation in Southern Philippines
