Filipina Homebased Moms (FHMOMS)

FHMoms is a social enterprise that provides home-based livelihood opportunities for mothers. FHMoms provides support to three kinds of customers: Virtual Assistants, Sellers, and Creatives. FHMoms creates programs that provide training to mothers about online opportunities and helps provide opportunities for mothers who lack the means and resources to apply and gain employment online. They aim to empower mothers so that they can balance having a career while caring for their children full-time.

HiGi

HiGi Energy is an organization that builds a network of renewable energy providers and bridge them to the consumer market. HIGI aims to solve the environmental problem resulting from the use of traditional energy sources. They bring together different producers and partners who are experts in the field of renewable energy. Through this, alternative energy sources are made more accessible to the direct users while ensuring the standard quality. HiGi aims to create a strong force for the end-users, to convince them to shift from traditional energy sources since alternative options are made available and easier to access. 

HiGi’s main product is biomass made of coconut, which is widely used by grilling restaurants in the country.

Make A Difference Travel (MAD Travel)

MAD Travel is an educational travel platform that inspires communities and guests by making lasting difference through fun, authentic, travel experiences. Their vision is to create inclusive, sustainable, agroforest tourism economies that benefit the people and the planet through storytelling by their tour guides called Chief Experience Officers. MAD Travel includes the community and environment in their programs through training and joint activities like tree planting.

Magwayen Organics, Inc.

Magwayen Organics is a local start-up that currently develops MAGWAI Reef-Safe Sunscreen. MAGWAI was launched to raise awareness about how mainstream sunscreens contain chemicals that are toxic to coral reefs, and to help make reef-safe sunscreens accessible to Filipinos. Their mission is to promote mindful consumption among consumers, making sure that other components in their supply chain are also sustainable like partnering with couriers that allow them to use eco-friendly packaging and initiating a collection effort for empty MAGWAI tubes from their customers. 

MAGWAI contains broad spectrum SPF 50+ and offers UVA and UVB protection. It is water and sweat resistant. It is made of all-natural ingredients and is certified by PETA to be cruelty-free. Its active ingredients are Zinc Oxide and TItanium Dioxide,which makes it safe for use without harming coral reefs.

PeoplePods is a corporate solution to provide dignified affordable housing for Bottom-of-the-Pyramid (“BOP”) workers. They manage dormitory communities that are safer, cleaner, and have more amenities at a more affordable price. Their customers are multinational employers of migrant workers in Batangas, Philippines, who earn minimum wage.
